Hello lovely one,

My name is CHANTAL AND I’m a clinical psychologist who brings deep care INTO MY role of psychologist. I work full-time in my own private practice, where I specialise in individual trauma therapy and a few other things. With 15 years’ experience, I cherish the healing power of talk therapy, yet I’ve learned we’re so much more than our thoughts. Our bodies and nervous systems hold our stories—the highs, the lows, the quiet aches—and they long for gentle tending. This realisation led me to create Breathing Studio, a warm, safe sanctuary where women can gather to softly reconnect with their mind, body, and soul. My heart glows with joy when I guide women back to their radiant selves, fostering peace, delight, and a deep sense of inner strength.

I’ve walked this path too, finding comfort in mind-body healing when life’s unexpected sorrows—uncertainty, worry, loss, deep grief, and overwhelming stress—settled heavy within my being. Talk therapy was a soft space to land, but my body still held the story. Long after words faded in the therapy room, my nervous system lingered in unrest, caught in fight-or-flight or a silent functional freeze. Though I kept living life, succeeding and functioning, I was lost in a dark healing tunnel, my spirit frayed, longing for more.

Embracing somatic therapy, breathwork, and nervous system healing, I found a sacred path, the path less traveled. Gently, I released the weight my body carried, soothed my nervous system, and rediscovered my true essence—a vibrant, whole version of myself, alive with joy and a zest for life that words can scarcely hold. This transformative journey, so rich and sacred, became the heartbeat of Breathing Studio—my heart’s offering to shine a guiding light for women, just as I’ve walked. I hold this light for you, trusting in your own healing path.
