Women’s Mind-Body Therapy Groups - The Breathing Studio Perth
What to Expect
Each session begins with time to arrive and settle into the space. You’ll rest comfortably on a supportive mat, allowing your body to slow down and release tension through gentle, guided breathing and awareness. The studio environment is warm, quiet, and designed to support deep rest, reflection, and a sense of safety.
This space offers each woman a calm, nurturing environment to tune into her own experience at her own pace. Everything you need for comfort is provided, including blankets, eye masks, and knee bolsters. You’re invited to use whatever helps you feel most at ease. Simply bring yourself, wearing comfortable clothing that allows you to rest and move gently.
Each session is guided and experiential, drawing on trauma-informed mind-body practices that help regulate the nervous system. These may include grounding, orienting, breathwork, and slow, mindful movement.
There is no pressure to speak or share. The focus is on creating space to soften, feel, and listen inward with curiosity and compassion.
Every week includes a short learning component focused on understanding your own nervous system patterns, emotional responses, and the inner voices that shape your sense of self. Together, we explore how experiences such as the inner critic or inner child may influence your state of regulation, overwhelm, or shutdown.
You’ll learn how to map your nervous system states and respond to them with care and compassion in daily life, developing a toolkit for emotional balance and embodied resilience.
Each session closes gently with time for reflection, herbal tea, and journaling. This final pause helps you integrate what has emerged, ground yourself, and return to your day feeling settled and supported.
These ninety-minute sessions are calm, spacious, and deeply restorative, a chance to slow down, reconnect, and meet yourself with warmth, understanding, and care.
